سونامی سرطان در ایران نگران کننده است رئیس انجمن سرطان ایران از رشد فزاینده بیماران سرطانی در کشور به عنوان یک سونامی ناگهانی نام برد و گفت: مسئولین و برنامه ریزان نظام سلامت کشور باید توجه ویژه ای به این بحث داشته باشند. دکتر عبدالله فضلعلی زاده روز سه شنبه در پنجمین همایش سرطان ایران در سالن همایشهای رازی اظهارداشت: سرطان به عنوان یکی از معضلات جامعه بشری با تهدید انسانها در تمام گروههای سنی، سبب خسارات جانی و مالی فراوانی می شود که کشور ما نیز از این قاعده مستثنی نیست. وی با اشاره به آمارهای جهانی که حکایت از یک رشد فزاینده انواع سرطانها در تمام جوامع بشری دارد، افزود: یکی از دغدغه های اصلی سیاستگزاران کشورها در دهه های اخیر، افزایش هزینه های درمان سرطان است. رئیس انجمن سرطان ایران در ادامه به پیش بینی ها از روند رو به رشد تعداد مبتلایان به سرطان در جهان اشاره کرد و گفت: بررسیهایی که از میزان مراجعه بیماران به آنکلوژیست ها در بین سالهای 1998 تا 2003 صورت گرفته است، نشان می دهد که تعداد بیماران از 11 میلیون و 800 هزار نفر در سال 2005 به 18 میلیون و 200 هزار نفر در سال 2020 خواهد رسید. فضلعلی زاده با تاکید بر نیاز جامعه برای افزایش تربیت آنکلوژیست افزود: متاسفانه با کمبود نیروی متخصص به خصوص آنکلوژیست در کشور مواجه هستیم که این موضوع باید در برنامه های سیاستگزاران کشور مورد توجه ویژه قرار بگیرد. وی گفت: پولهایی که در بخش درمان بیماران سرطانی هزینه می شود، می بایست در تشخیص بیماری به کار گرفته شود. زیرا، پیشگیری و غربالگری از جمله مسائل مهمی است که در کنترل این بیماری باید به آن پرداخت. منبع: سلامت نیوز

Medical Council of Canada Evaluating Examination (MCCEE)

The Medical Council of Canada Evaluating Examination (MCCEE) is a four-hour computer-based examination offered in both English and French at more than 500 centers in 73 countries worldwide. International medical graduates, international medical students in their final clinical year and U.S. osteopaths must take the MCCEE as a prerequisite for eligibility to the MCC Qualifying Examinations.

The MCCEE is a general assessment of the candidate's basic medical knowledge in the principal disciplines of medicine. It is also designed to assess the skills and knowledge required at the level of a new medical graduate who is about to enter the first year of supervised postgraduate training or practice.

The computer-based MCCEE consists of 175 multiple-choice questions, each listing five possible answers of which only one is the correct or best answer.

The MCCEE questions cover the following domains: Child Health, Maternal Health, Adult Health, Mental Health, and Population Health and Ethics.
